Walk Two Moons

Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech is about two girls named Phoebe and Salamanca (Sal for short). Sal goes to see her mother with her grandparents, and her grandparents ask for a story. She tells them about Phoebe Winterbottom. I like this book, but it is also very sad and there is kissing.

The Best Halloween Ever

The Best Halloween Ever by Barbara Robinson is about a girl named Beth and a boy named Charlie (they are brother and sister but I don't know their last name). It is about how these people whose last name was Herdman ruined Halloween. So they have Halloween at their school and it turns out like real Halloween except better. I liked this book a lot and I finished it in one day.

Bridge to Terabithia

Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson is about a boy named Jess Aarons and a girl named Leslie Burke. They build this  little house in the woods and Leslie names it Terabithia.  They pretend that it is a magical kingdom where they have many adventures. I had a hard time putting this book down, and when my sister wanted me to go outside with her I wanted to bring it outside, but my mom doesn't like me taking books outside in the winter. I really enjoyed this book at the beginning, but at the end it got sad.

Nathan's present

Today I am going to blog about my brother's birthday present. His birthday present is a pillowcase. Here are some pictures of it:

This is a picture of just the pillowcase

This is a picture of it with the pillow

I got to make it on my sewing machine all by myself. It was really fun. Right when I finished it I had to give it to my brother (even though it was the day before his birthday that I made the pillowcase). He said it was the best pillowcase he ever had.

The new fort

Today mom came into our room and woke us up and told us to go see how much snow there was so Kathryn and I went to our window and looked and the snow almost reached the top of our garden beds. Our mom said that when we finished our school that we could go outside. So Kathryn and I went and did our school. When we finished we went outside and we saw that the old fort that we had made was all covered in snow. So Kitty made a fort for us and I made a little fort by ours for our stuffed dogs.
Well I promised my sister I would go outside and play with her.
